I am an assistant professor in the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. I teach within the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) major covering advertising, branding, and graphic design. Previously, I was a professor of Advertising and Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I always had a long term goal to teach at the collegiate level but when I had the opportunity to fill in for a professor on medical leave I decided to make the change earlier than planned. I was previously the Art Director and Operations Manager for Electric Lemonade, a full-service internet marketing firm. While I was working for Electric Lemonade, I was able to increase my knowledge of HTML, CSS and search engine marketing (SEO). Prior to Electric Lemonade, I worked as the Art Director for TYTAN, an award-winning advertising agency. Here I was able to work my way up from a junior designer and web developer and gain meaningful experience working in all aspects of the advertising industry. I earned my M.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Prior to that, I earned a B.F.A. in Computer Graphics from Syracuse University.
I am an avid golfer and triathlete, and when I’m not competing, I enjoy watching Yankee baseball and Syracuse basketball. Please take a look at my work and feel free to send me an email with any comments or thoughts.
